Victoria Day

Hey Ya'll! I finally FINALLY!!!! have a new post!!!!lol
Well This post is just to ask you what you did for Victorias Day. My Family went the Koerssons (sp?) and played an awsome game of hockey (girls against guys) where the girls creamed the guys even though the score was like 8 - 3 for the guys ;P lol and it ended up not really being a girls team considering at one point I was the only girl on the girls team untill Ashley B. came back to help me. lol, Mind you the adults, and some other guys were on our team so don't go thinking I was the only one on our team :D hehehehe A lot of the people from our homescholling group and some others were there too. We had a cook-out, some personnel fireworks, and then we went to see the big show of fireworks by the areana in Nobleton. It was tons of fun except knowing I had to wake up at 6am the next morning :( well, lol, I'm done typin now :D

Hey guys an' girls I brought these brownies for my youth group and they turned out to be a great success so I though some of you girls (I don't know if any of you guys bake) might like to try making them. They're one of my fav goodies.

Butterscotch Brownies

1/4 c butter
1 c packed brown sugar
1 egg
3/4 c flour
1 tsp baking pwdr
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp vanilla

1) Heat oven to 350 degrees
2) melt butter over low heat or just use oil
3) add sugatr to oil/melted butter
4)cool (if you melted the butter)
5)stir in egg
6) stir in flour, baking powder, and salt. Blend in.
7) Mix in vanilla
8) Spread in well greased square pan
9) bake for 25 min (don't over bake)
10) cout into squares while warm

you can add 1/2 cup nuts if you like.
